Eric Ripert
Eric Ripert is chef & co-owner of Le Bernardin, which received three stars from the Michelin Guide in 2005, 2006, and 2007. In 1998, the James Beard Foundation named Le Bernardin Outstanding Restaurant of the Year, and Ripert Top Chef in New York City. The restaurant received the Beard Foundation’s Outstanding Service award the following year, and Ripert was named its Outstanding Chef in the United States in 2003. In fall 2008, Ripert will publish On the Line: The Le Bernardin Cookbook (Artisan). When not in the kitchen, Ripert enjoys good tequila and peace and quiet. He lives in New York City and Sag Harbor with his wife and young son.
