William joined Gourmet as travel editor in 2000. He was part of the launch team for Saveur in 1994 and was features editor of Travel & Leisure before that. He spent time in California, South America, and Europe in his younger, more impulsive days, before suddenly realizing he’d forgotten to get a job.
