Diary of a Foodie: Season Two: Vietnam: The Taste of Simplicity

- 6 large egg yolks
- 1/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons freshly brewed strong coffee
Beat egg yolks and sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer at high speed until pale and very thick, about 3 minutes.
Divide among 4 small cups and add hot coffee, then stir until blended.
