Thomas H. Hartman was named Vice President and Publisher of Gourmet in March 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Hartman served as Associate Publisher of Gourmet since 2003. During this time, he led the sales force to an all-time paging high in 2004, followed by a record-high revenue year in 2006. Mr. Hartman has an extensive background in advertising and sales, which includes senior level positions at Walt Disney Internet Group's Go.com as Senior Vice President Worldwide Advertising, and at Doubleclick, Inc. as Regional Vice President, Strategic Sales.
Mr. Hartman first joined Condé Nast Publications in 1993 as Advertising Manager of Vogue. Prior to that he held a variety of sales positions at both Elle and Travel & Leisure magazines.
Thomas Hartman holds a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School. He also has attended professional culinary programs at both Le Cordon Bleu and Bellouet Conseil in Paris. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
