Gourmet magazine won two James Beard Foundation Media Awards at the Annual James Beard Foundation Media Awards, which recognize excellence in food and beverage journalism for articles published in 2007 and for television, webcast, and radio programs that aired in 2007 in the United States and Canada. The event took place on Friday, June 6, 2008, at the Hudson Theater at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York.
The James Beard Foundation Awards recognize outstanding achievement within the fine food and beverage industry. The awards honor professionals including authors, chefs, restaurateurs, winemakers, journalists, broadcasters, and restaurant and graphic designers in North America.
